Ionic liquids instead of one or two compents of the traditional microemulsion have made great progress.Ionic liquids,which can replace the polar phase,non-polar phase and surfactant of the traditional microemulsion to form microemulsion composed entirely of ionic liquids.As a part of the project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China?No.21473050?,in this paper,a series of ionic liquids with different structure were synthesized,and some physical chemistry properties of the microemulsion systems formed by these ionic liquids were studied.The main research content included the following components.1.A series of imidazolium-based ionic liquids,pyridinium-based ionic liquids,quaternary ammonium-based ionic liquids and quaternary phosphonium-based ionic liquids were synthesized and characterized.In these ionic liquids,more than 60 groups of immiscible ionic liquid systems have been found.The solvation probe molecules were used to measure solvation parameters of these ionic liquids.Then the mutual solubility temperatures for some representative immiscible ionic liquid systems were measured.Finally,the low critical solution temperature of the magnetic ionic liquids?anion is Fe Cl4-?and water system were discussed.2.The aqueous microemulsion system formed by two kinds of ionic liquids was researched in which ionic liquid [C12mim][Tf2N] was used as non-polar phase and ionic liquid [C12mim][N?CN?2] was used as surfactant,respectively.The phase diagram of the system was drawn.Effect of temperature on the phase equilibrium was investigated.Then the structure of the microemulsion was determined by using electrochemical method.Finally,the particle size of the microemulsion droplets was characterized by using dynamic light scattering technology.3.The emulsion systems formed by three kinds of ionic liquids were researched in which ionic liquid ethylamine nitrate was used as polar phase,imidazolium ionic liquid [Cnmim][Tf2N]?n=6,8,10,14?were used as non-polar phase.The phase diagrams of these systems were drawn.Effect of the alkyl chain length of imidazolium-based ionic liquids,alkyl chain length of cholinium-based ionic liquids and temperature on the phase equilibrium were investigated respectively.Finally,the aggregation behavior of ionic liquids surfactant in solvent ionic liquids was studied by surface tension methods.
