Direct methanol fuel cell(DMFC)is directly utilize methanol as fuel in cell,it has the benefits of high energy transformation efficiency,simple constructure of the fuel cell system,low emissions of contaminant and so on.It have extensively application prospect,such as the field of electronically mobile appliance and portable electronic devices.At present,PtRu/CNT is the main dual-alloyed catalyst of direct methanol fuel cell anode catalyst material.However,the low rate of methanol oxidation in the anodic reaction and easily poisoning of the anodic catalysts are two serious problems hindering the exploitation and utilization of DMFC.Polymeride and heteropolyacid were used modifier in the course of the catalyst to improves the shape of hole,the number of the active site and the spatial structure in catalysts supporter.It is effective way to enhances activity and stability of the catalysts.The main conclusions are outlined as follows:1.PtRu/CNT-CS catalyst was prepared by the introduction of chitosan(CS)modified methanol fuel cell anode PtRu/CNT catalyst,and explored the effects of different CS dosage on the activity and stability of the catalyst.Transmission electron microscopy(TEM)tests showed that the particle size of PtRu/CNT-CS catalyst modified by chitosan was significantly less than the Pt Ru/CNT catalyst.The activity and stability of PtRu/CNT-CS catalyst were higher than the PtRu/CNT catalyst.When mass ratio of CNT with CS is 6:1,PtRu/CNT(86%)-CS(14%)catalysts have the best catalyst performance.2.PtRu/CNT-PDDA catalyst was prepared by the introduction of PDDA modified methanol fuel cell anode PtRu/CNT catalyst,and explored the effects of different PDDA dosage on the activity and stability of the catalyst.The tests showed that when mass ratio of CNT with PDDA is 2:1,PtRu/CNT(67%)-PDDA(33%)catalysts have the highest in methanol scanning and best catalyst performance.3.(PtRu/CNT-CS)-HSiW and(PtRu/CNT-PDDA)-HSiW catalysts were prepared by adding HSiW based on the Pt Ru/CNT-CS and PtRu/CNT-PDDA catalyst.Compared with PtRu/CNT,PtRu/CNT-CS and PtRu/CNT-PDDA catalysts,the catalyst with HSiW modified had better methanol oxidation activity,and the ability of anti CO poisoning was also improved.The catalyst performance was optimized first by CS or PDDA modification,and the modified HSi W secondly was the best.4.Used CNT?GNS and mixed carrier(CNT-GNS)to prepared the PtRu/CNT-CS?PtRu/GNS-CS ? PtRu/(CNT-GNS)-CS ? PtRu/CNT-PDDA ? PtRu/GNS-PDDA and PtRu/(CNT-GNS)-PDDA catalysts.The tests showed that PtRu/(CNT-GNS)-PDDA and PtRu/(CNT-GNS)-CS catalysts were more uniform.But PtRu/(CNT89%-GNS11%)-PDDA and PtRu/(CNT67%-GNS33%)-CS catalyst showed better catalytic activity than other catalysts.
