Lakes and rivers are important parts of the natural environment and precious fresh water resources to human life. To achieve more economic profits, many enterprises drain sewage illegally. That behavior damage water resource quality seriously. It is significant to govern water pollution by accessing the location information of pollution sources timely and accurately.In this thesis, point source pollution mobile detection system has been designed. The positioning algorithm and mobile detection platform have been researched. And the tasks of positioning the point source pollution in one and two dimensional space have been realized. Theoretical calculations and computer simulation results show that the system has high accuracy of positioning, expedient disposition and good instantaneity. It extends the application range of current mobile water contamination detection system effectively.The main contents are as follows:(1) The limitation of current states and progress in water pollution detection system has been introduced. The current positioning methods of point source pollution have been discussed. The principle of the mobile detection process has been analyzed.(2) One-dimensional river point source pollution diffusion has been researched. The mobile positioning process of time concentration gradient algorithm and linear analysis algorithm has been established. The simulation result through comparing with the concentration measurement noise, sampling points and sampling time interval shows the effect on the positioning accuracy.(3) The diffusion rule and the influence factors of two-dimensional river steady point source have been analysised. The mobile positioning has been realized by using the linear decreasing weight particle swarm algorithm. The method has the advantages of quick pre convergence and late local high positioning accuracy. The positioning accuracy and the optimal particle number have been determined through simulation analyzed.(4) Because of the lack of monitoring range and instantaneity in water pollution monitor system, a mobile detection platform which contains water quality parameters detected, communication and positioning point source pollution has been designed. It improves the efficiency of achieving water quality parameters in instantaneity detection of network communication data through using General Packet Radio Service communications technology. The main functions of the mobile water quality testing platform were tested, and the experiment of point source pollution was carried out in the actual water area.(5) The laboratory experiment and the test in real water area of positioning have done. The experimental results show that the linear analytic algorithm is practical, and verify the effectiveness of the proposed localization algorithm and the design of the test platform.
