Grinding operation consumes huge energy, and the energy efficiency of equipments used in grinding operation is low, for example, the Raymond mill's energy efficiency is lower than 12 percentage, therefore it has a profound significance to the development of cement, ceramic and other energy-intensive industries to research the energy utilization of grinding machinery and equipment. The key point that to cut down the energy consumption during the grinding process is to improve the grinding efficiency. The cascading planetary roller mill that used layer crushing principle and more crushing less grinding principle can improve the work efficiency of cement raw material grinding significantly, and at the same time power consumption to produce raw materials of unit quality is decreased obviously, and become the mainstream development direction of the mechanical equipment of cement grinding operation.From the series of roller mill crushing principle and mechanical structure design perspective. Analysis crushed wheel wear are not, grinding wheel can easily be material stuck, high energy consumption, combined with numerical simulation and experimental verification of the method, in-depth research and analysis in the influence of roller grinding in the presence, and Raymond grinding structure, using material layer comminution and more crushing and less grinding principle, design a new stacked planetary mill, and applied to production practice.The main research work and innovation of this paper are as follows:(1) redesigned important parts inside the mill vertical mill, and calculated based on the maximum feed size and dynamics analysis to determine the structural and mechanical properties of the new layered planetary vertical mill, material grinding performance improvement and energy efficiency improve the validity of the improved design.(2) the establishment of a stacked three-dimensional model of the planetary mill stand, to force DRUM, cantilever and spindle and other key components of the finite element simulation analysis, we obtained the calculation of structural parameters and process parameters and adjustments related to the theoretical basis;(3) completed the stacked type planetary vertical mill prototype assembly, testing and field grinding tests, the results showed that the test products good performance, and more significant economic benefits.
