Salen-type complexes and their derivatives not only show a variety of properties in catalytic, but also have some advantages in the field of antibiosis, treatment of tumors, Bio inspired oxygen and so on. Supramolecular were formed metal complexes by hydrogen bonding, ?-? stacking interaction and C-H? interaction, which show the feature of ion recognition, catalysis, photoelectric properties, magnetic properties and so on. Therefore, it is quite important to design and synthesis Salen type complexes and their derivatives.In this paper, two kinds of diamines, 1, 2-bis?aminooxy?ethane and 1,3-bis?aminooxy?propane are synthesized at first. Three new ligands and eight complexes are obtained by two kinds of diamines and 4-Methoxysalicylaldehyde, salicylaldehyde,3,5-dichloro-salicylald-ehy de,5-chlorosalicylaldehyde and 4-?N,N-diethylamine?-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde,which were characterized by IR, UV-Vis, fluorescence spectra and point melting, elemental analysis,solubility measurement and a series of physical and chemical analysis methods.{?CoL1?2??-OAc?2Co}CH2Cl2,[{NiL1?C2H5OH?}2??-OAc?2Ni]2C2H5OH,{?ZnL1?2??-OAc?2Zn},[{NiL2?MeOH?}2??-OAc?+2Ni]2Me OH,[{NiL2?C2H5OH?}2??-OAc?2Ni]2H2O,[{NiL2?C3H7OH?}2??-OAc?2Ni]2H2O,[{NiL2?C3H7OH?}2??-OAc?2Ni]and[{NiL2?C4H9OH?}2??-OAc?2Ni]2C4H9OH are obtained by natural evaporation of the solvent method in various solvent systems. They are obtained using three new ligands and Co?OAc?24H2O, Ni?OAc?24H2O and Zn?OAc?22H2O. Crystal structure, chemical composition and space group are determined by using X-ray diffraction method.
