| With the vigorous development of welding technology,in recent years,automatic TIG welding is applying in industrial production more and more widely,especially the stainless steel.This paper aims to develop a set of automatic TIG welding apparatus for the power head of thermal expansion valve.The main contents are as follows:(1)Firstly,according to the material properties and size of the power head,the paper introduces several feasible welding methods,such as laser welding,plasma arc welding,electron beam welding,TIG welding,etc.After a comprehensive analysis,we choose the automatic TIG welding.(2)According to the technical requirements of the enterprise,we make a welding system requirement and project which includes the control unit,the drive unit,pneumatic unit,the positioning mechanism,the water-cooling mechanism,the welding mechanism and the design of the system software.The software design includes PLC software design and human-computer interaction interface design.(3)This paper analyzes the process parameters from two aspects which is the surface quality and weld size,and obtains corresponding optimal parameter value or parameter range combining with the experiment results.(4)Using the best process parameters for batch testing,we assess the welding results and the stability of the welding system from three aspects which include the surface quality,weld tightness and penetration. |
