Economic Causes Of Point Source Pollution And Countermeasures

With the rapid development of rural areas in Henan Province, the ecological environment in rural areas had been seriously an affected, so that the point source pollution is a serious problem in rural areas, affecting rural residents' production and living. Therefore, rural non-point source pollution problem is very critical. NPS pollution is affected by many factors. Rural-point source pollution and non-point source pollution coexist. Serious ecological deterioration appears in some areas and the ecological environment is fragile, thereby the development of the rural is constrained.This article explores the rural non-point source pollution, using the perspective of economics, including literature analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis and other methods of research. Firstly, this paper states economic theoretical reasons of rural non-point source pollution. This paper specifically studies the rural environment as public goods. From the aspect of market failure and externality,we conclude economic origin of the rural non-point source pollution.Secondly, through the current situation of non-point source pollution in Shen Qiu County, Henan Province, Wu Yingcun. we macroscopically understand temporal characteristics of non-point source pollution, sources and extent of pollution in rural areas of Henan Province. And we analyzes the successful experience of Xinyang City Pingqiao District Hao Tang Village rural pollution control. We summed up the reason for Hill County, Henan Province, Shen Wu camp villages.The analysis of non-point source pollution caused by the technology for famer's production and living activities make known the seriousness of the current point source pollution in rural areas of Henan Province. We find out the the problems we are facing through the typical case investigation. From economic aspects, we analyze the causes of rural non-point source pollution problems.Finally, the corresponding countermeasures are pointed out through a combination of theoretical and practical way. In order to solve the problem of rural non-point source pollution, we have to rely on the strength from both the government and market. The provide modes of rural environment as public goods have a lot of problem, and the farmer should change their mode of production and way of life, also the government should make an effort to reduce externalities of non-point source pollution in rural areas.
