On December 18,2013, after repeated tests and refering to the European gasoline standard,, and suggestions from various circles of the society were taken else, National standards committee organization published the'China five'gasoline standard. Under this new standard, sulphur content in gasoline would be reduced from 50ppm to 1Oppm. The alteration shows the government's attention on sulfur content. In recent years, haze has received so much attention. Sulfocompound in gasoline is one of the chief culprits. Besides, Sulfocompound can also cause much environment questions such as acid rain, smog and so on. Specifically, it can lead to serious health problems, impact respiratory system. The series influence reminds us, it's a pressing problem of the remonal of the sulfur content in gasoline. There are some deficiency of the removal of thiophene on the traditional HDS, and it's a high-cost technique. In comparsion,ODS can fill the deficency well as a new desulphurization method. In this paper, the supporters of the ODS catalysts were noticed,and the catalysts were modified to discuss the oxidative desulfurization performance of DBT. On this basis, cyclohexene oxidation was used to vertify that the modification was useful for the other oxidation reaction.In this paper, kinds of Mo-based catalysts were prepared by isometric impregnation of which the supporters were ?-Al2O3,La-Al2O3 and Ce-Al2O3.These catalysts were used for DBT oxidative desulfurization and oxidizing agents were CHP and TBHP. The results showed that the modification by La and Ce could increase the oxidative desulfurization activity of catalysts. The best was the one in which Ce content was 2.15% and TBHP was the better oxidizing agent. The results of characterization showed that the modification of La and Ce could both promoted molybdenum octahedral and tetrahedron species and lessen the molybdenum oxide crystal phase.In the second part of the experiment, the active component Mo would be replaced by W to prepare catalyst for DBT oxidative desulfurization. And the results showed that the modification of La and Ce were effective for W-based catalysts as well. However, there is a big gap on catalysts'activity and stability between W-based catalysts and Mo-based catalysts.The products of cyclohexene oxidation have extensive applications because they could be important chemical materials. Therefore, in the last part of this paper, the catalysts which are before and after modification were used for cyclohexene oxidation in which reaction CHP was the oxidizing agent. Through this reaction, the application range of the modification would be expanded. And the results showed that the modification can not only be used for oxidative desulfurization but also cyclohexene oxidation. In the cyclohexene oxidation, the consequence of modification by Ce was better.
