Synthesis Of Beta Zeolite With Organotemplate-free

In 1967, Beta zeolite was successfully synthesized by Mobil company with silicon sol, sodium aluminate and TEAOH as raw materials. Beta zeolite was widely used in industrial catalysis because of its good thermal stability and high catalytic performance. But the conventional synthesis methods need a large amount of organic template. The aim of this research is trying to synthesize Beta zeolite without organic template, in order to reduce costs and environmental pollution. The main results are as follow:1. The influence of silica-alumina ratio to synthesize Beta zeolite with organotemplate-free.Firstly, the molecular sieve of zeolite Beta was synthesized using hydrothermal method, and then tested by a series of means, such as XRD, SEM, BET and Py-IR. Under the same conditions, just adjust silica-alumina ratio in the experiment. Last, the effect of silica-alumina ratio to synthesize Beta zeolite with organic free was analyzed comparatively.2. The influence of temperature and time to synthesize Beta zeolite with organotemplate-free.Under the same conditions, just adjust the temperature and time in the experiment. Last, the effect of temperature and time to synthesize Beta zeolite with organic template free was analyzed comparatively.
