With the rapid development of modern industry and computer science technology,image processing technology and computer vision technology have been developed rapidly.Computer vision technology is also more and more widely used in the industry,manufacturing and other industries.In particular,computer vision measurement technology,the mature visual measurement is based on small target object size measurement.How to solve the problem of large size measurement is now a major problem to be studied and solved.Measurement problem that is the subject for the size of the steel plate,including length,width and thickness,This article uses a computer vision measurement techniques.Due to the large size of the steel plate,a single camera can not get the integral steel plate image,in order to solve this problem,this article chose to use three cameras in a wide range of visual.This article bases on biplane model for distorted image correction and image recovery,and calibrates the camera optical center in accordance with the model of two parallel planes,and uses the structured light to measure the thickness of the steel plate,The thickness of the measurement process is mainly applied to the theorem of cross ratio unchanged.The next step is correcting the image according to advanced calibrated twenty-nine implicit camera calibration parameters.Then we need to extract the line feature of the structured light on restored images and apply the cross ratio theorem to solve the thickness.The visual solution of the steel plate's thickness is based on the world coordinates of the resulting camera optical center.When measuring the length and width of the steel plate uses three cameras.The three cameras should take the image at the same time.And then the three images are corrected and restored separately,so the linear equation of the edge of the steel plate can be obtained by extracting the image features.According to linear equation and the thickness to get the length and width with a visual solution method.Experimental results show that this method in this article can effectively and accurately calculate the size of the steel plate.This method is accurate and flexible and can provide reference for the relevant enterprises in order to achieve real-time measurement and high degree of automation and improve detection efficiency.
