China is a country with a long history and brilliant culture,many of whose relics are left to people nowadays and become the most valuable spiritual wealth.Since “the Belt and Road” policy was put forward,the ancient silk road has come into the vision of the public again,and the silk road culture has once again become a hot topic nowadays.Dunhuang,the Oriental Art Treasure,plays a critical role in the process of China's historical development,and the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes is the largest and the most abundant Buddhist art in the world.At the same time,it is the trade between the East and the West promoted by the silk road on the material that also sparks a revolution in textile and apparent fabrics.When we look for the most traditional handicraft techniques from the ancient textiles,we also attempt to find some more suitable type of textile and apparel fabrics for modern people,and present it in a more artistic way.From the perspective of Dunhuang decorative pattern in the Tang Dynasty,this article tries to explore the art form of Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes decorative pattern and explain the characteristics of the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes decorative pattern with textile fabric reconstruction design language and the art of costume design perspective.Combined with the traditional natural dyeing process,as well as modern textile fabrics reengineering technology,using thematic expression,the recreation of textile design instance of graduation design works to the Tang Dynasty in Dunhuang decorative pattern in the clothing design innovation in the filed of use.In order to develop the Chinese traditional culture and inherit the one thousand-year-old clothing handcraft techniques,this paper hopes to cause the resonance and thinking of the art lovers from modern perspective and with the traditional form of tradition.
