Face gear transmission is a special form of bevel gear,is used in modern industries in an important way of transmission.However,with the gradual increase across the gear machining accuracy,how machined surface with high precision complex gear tooth surface becomes a critical issue of industrial manufacturing.For surface machining precision gears,generally using a grinding processing technology.In this paper,to study aspects of face gear grinding teeth grinding surface residual stress and temperature field were studied a number of columnsBased on the gear engagement principle,differential geometry theory,the establishment of the processing coordinate system and processing tool face gear,machine tool coordinate system.Calculated butterfly wheel working face gear tooth surface equation by correlation matrix.Then apply MATLAB coordinates of discrete points related fitting to give the face gear tooth surface model.Finally,to give three-dimensional solid model face gear in PROE,in order to later temperature field,stress field analysis and lay a good foundation.By contacting oval principle,on the basis of face gear tooth surface grinding on the spot,to come forward to solve the temperature field gear grinding point analysis of correlation analysis parameters,such as exposure to arc,the contact width.Point in all directions across the surface of the gear teeth grinding point carried on temperature field analysis by ANSYS finite element analysis export analysis results.Tooth by tooth longitudinal direction and the direction of the high temperature grinding tooth surface were summarized by theoretical tooth surface curvature analysis results of the analysis to explain.Finally,using an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature of the actual tooth surface,the results obtained with the finite element analysis phase argument.Opposite gear grinding tooth surface residual stress did ANSYS finite element simulation and analysis.The results show: Face gear tooth surface after grinding for the residual compressive stress in the toothsurface layer of residual tensile stress;The size of the residual stress of the tooth surface grinding with grinding conditions and the amount of related,and analyzes the impact of the amount of grinding a few changes to its.And by using x-ray diffraction measurements come forward gear surface of the surface residual stress distribution,and with the results of simulation out of the comparison,the error rate is small,finite element analysis proved the feasibility of grinding residual stresses.The influence of the error and the tooth surface residual stress cracks opposite gear,And analyzed in accordance with the law of the tooth surface to generate the error distribution of crack is easy to produce,in essence,come to eliminate grinding cracks to eliminate tooth surface residual stress.And for the elimination of residual stress methods and made some recommendations.
