The gold catalyst,which has attracted great attention in chemistry,is a new catalysis material and had been widely used in many fields. The key point to acquire the high activity gold catalyst is to control the gold nanoparticles in several nanometers less than 5 nm,show good activity for the oxidation of carbon monoxide. However,the gold is easy to be reunited. To prepare the stable gold catalyst in 5 nm is always the direction of researches. Bentonite,which is a montmorillonite-based clay,are widely distributed in china,is cheap and has broad development prospects. This work aims at introducing the gold and active support to the unique layered structure of bentonite with the Al cross-linking agent,to improve the heat stability of the gold catalysts.Fe2O3 and Ti O2 are good active support of gold catalysts.Using Al cross-linking agent capsuled active support to prepare the pillared bentonite,and exploring the inorganic and organic synthesis methods modified bentonite to find the best support. The BET?ICP?IR and XRD were employed to characterize the prepared materials,and CO oxidation reaction was carried out to evaluate the catalyst performance.In this research,relying on the rich resources of bentonite in Jiangxi province,we prepared a catalyst named Au/Al-Ti-Bent,which has large surface area and good thermal stability,its activity only descend 5% after 60 h of life testing;And prepared superior low temperature catalytic performance of Au/Al-Fe-Ce-ABent catalyst,which has 46% CO conversion in low temperature of 40 ? and 100% CO conversion in 100 ?.
