Sulfur-containing compounds are a class of important compounds.It exists widely in natural products,and is closely related to our daily life.We can encounter these compounds everywhere due to their higher biological activity in medicine,including anticancer,anti HIV drugs and all kinds of antimicrobial agents.Besides,these compounds have been widely applied in materials science.The methods for the formation of sulfur-containing compounds and their properties were fully explored.To date,a variety of protocols which are efficient,simple and atom-economical for the synthesis of sulfur-containing compounds have been reported.Through the study on the reported methods,we have great interesting in the synthesis of sulfur-containing compounds,and focus on them.In this paper,we will introduce two methods for the synthesis of sulfur-containing compounds,and disulfides provided the source of sulfur:(1)The research of iron-catalyzed cyclization of N-propargylamides with disulfides or diselenides for the synthesis of oxazole derivatives.This paper use N-propargylamides,disulfides or diselenides as starting materials to synthesize oxazole derivatives which was catalyzed by FeBr3.The reaction has mild conditions,easy handle,less by-products,which provides new methods for the synthesis of sulphur-containing oxazole skeleton.It also provides a new route for organic synthesis and has a strong theoretical and practical value.(2)The research of iodine-promoted tandem reaction for the formation of ?,?-diarylthio aldehydes via C-N bonds activation process of tertiary amine,which proceed under transition-metal-free conditions.In this section,we applied in cheap,green I2 as the catalyst for the synthesis of ?,?-diarylthio aldehydes via C-N bonds activation of tertiary amine.Compared to the conventional palladium,copper,iron and other transition metal catalyst system,this method with low cost,low energy consumption,is in line with the method we now advocated environmentally friendly synthesis way.It is a great supplement for the transition-metal-free reaction,and plays an important role in the exploration of C-N bond activation.
