J336 rotated casting machine mainly used in the production of aluminum alloy cylinder head castings of car engine is the part of the automation production line independently researched and developted by Jinan Sunrise Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd.. With the increasing requirements of the quality of casting and casting automation, the research of rotated casting machine at home and abroad emphasised the control and application development, such as hydraulic system design and research, uniform pouring control and application and so on. But it is not enough in research of the reliability, stability, lightweight of the rotated casting machine.This paper takes J336 rotated casting machine as the research object, analyzes the static and dynamic states about J336 rotated casting machine using CAE analysis software Hypermesh and ANSYS. And according to the analysis results, appropriately improve and optimize the part of the structure.Firstly, the effect and design parameters of mechanism of each part of J336 rotated casting machine of aluminum cylinder head are briefly introduced. CAD model of the rotary mechanism, main opening and closing mechanism, side opening and closing mechanism, bottom ejection mechanism and the complete machine is established using 3D Software SolidWorks. Under the circumstances of meeting the design requirements and the actual production, the complex structure parts are simplified, with removing the negligible parts of dynamic and static characteristics of the structure. The geometry clean and mesh of three-dimensional model of the parts and whole machine is processed by Hypermesh, and the finite element analysis of ANSYS model was established. According to the actual work of J336 rotated casting machine, add the appropriate contact and analysis for force, then establish the finite element analysis model for ANSYS.Secondly, the static and dynamic characteristics analysis of the whole machine under multiple conditions are analyzed by ANSYS. This paper mainly studies two limit positions of the dynamic and static characteristics of the whole machine, so as to reveal the displacement and stress contour and natural frequency of the complete machine, and checks the intensity and stiffness.Finally, the structure of J336 rotated casting machine meets the design requirements according to the dynamic and static analysis. And on this basis, because there is a larger optimization space, so it takes the platform of J336 rotated casting machine as the optimization object. For the purpose of reducing the quality and wastage, it takes structure optimization design for the platform parametric modeling established using APDL.
