The content of this thesis includes the following two aspects:Part 1:Acid-catalyzed cleavage of C-O bond of alcohol and C-N bond formation. It is significant to construct C-N bond directly through the industrial materials containing C-O bond, for the cheaper way not only can reduce pollutions, but also, give a light to provide a new method about solving the environmental problems.Although, the reactions between halogenated hydrocarbons or sulfonate with amine can form the C-N bond, there exists some limitations such as inferior atom economy and synthetic efficiencies.Recently, our group develops a high efficient trifluoromethanesulfonic acid activated C-O methodology to form C-N bond, only with the green side product-water.Part 2:studies toward cyclization reaction of iminium ionsIndene and fluorine derivatives are widespread in natural products.Furthermore,it can play the role of transition metal ligands or functional materials.Based on that, developing new methods for construction of indene and fluorine skeletons have drawn much attention in synthetic field. In this paper,we developed a one-pot methodology where the two skeletons are constructed simultaneously, with high atomic and synthetic efficiencies.
