The distributed fiber raman temperature sensors have been developed fastly in thirty years.The long distance optical fiber distributed Raman temperature sensor system was designed in this paper.For oil and gas safety,this paper designed a set of oil and gas safety monitoring system,which ha ve achieved good operating results after successful use of the system actually works.Based on the advantage and fund by the Zhejiang public projects(2014C33065),the optical fiber Raman temperature sensor system was successfully developed.There are four parts about the oil and gas application of the distribute optical fiber raman temperature sensor in this paper.1.The development of distributed optical fiber Raman temperature sensor was briefly introduced.The research trends and application status were also included in this section,which focuses on the situation in oil and gas energy safety monitoring.2.The basic principles of distributed optical fiber Raman temperature sensor was introduced,some factors affect system performance were listed in this part.At last,Some methods for improve system performance parameters were also explored.3.The 30 km distributed optical fiber Raman temperature sensor system was designed in this section.A complete set of distributed optical fiber Raman temperature sensor system was designed on the basic of system hardware and software.4.Two practical engineering examples were listed in this section.One is LNG temperature monitoring project in Weihai,the other is the fire monitoring of depot area in Rizhao.Which contains the different sensing cable la ying environment and the select of key monitoring area.The design of software interface and the setting of alarm threshold were also introduced.A ccording to the simulation leak testing at the scene,which proved the DTS system running very well.5.Finally,a summary was presented in this section.It pointed the shortcomings of DTS system in oil and gas field applications,some improvement measures were taken in future work.
