C-H bond activation reaction is one of the hot research topics in catalysis. In this dissertation, we have focused on Pd catalyzed C(sp2)-H bond activation:exploring the regio-selectivity and enantioselectivity in C-H bond activation reactions.1. Pd-catalyzed C(sp2)-H bond activation for the synthesis chiral phosphine compounds.C-H bond activation of diaryl phosphoryl amide compounds with aryl boronic acids for efficient synthesis of chiral phosphine compounds was investigated by using palladium acetate and amino acid ligands as catalysts. After examing several factors (solvent, oxidant, base, ligand), we have got the mono-phenylated product with 80% ee, diphenylated poduct with 89% ee.2. Palladium and bidentate nitrogen ligands catalyzed addition of aromatic C-H bond to alkyne for the synthesis of olefin.Previous our groups have studied the oxidative Heck reaction of arenes with olefin compounds using Pd(OAc)2 with 2-OH-1,10-phenanthroline ligand as catalysts. Herein, we investigated the addition of aromatic C-H bond to alkyne using Pd/2-OH-1,10-phenanthroline catalyst. The product was isolated in 91% yield. For the chlorinated aromatic compounds, the phenomenon of chloride migration from the arene to the olefin was observed. The alkenyl chlorides were isolated in high yield (up to 91%).
