At present, the industrial field has raised higher demands on the metal substrates surface's properties, such as corrosion resistance, wear resistance and so on. So the method of anticorrosive protection that means amorphous alloy coatings are prepared by using supersonic flame spraying technology has been deeply studied, and it also has got a wide range of applications. However, most of the present amorphous coating equipment has the disadvantages of single function, low level of intelligence and so on. When preparing the amorphous alloy coating on the surface of large steel plate, the problem of low efficiency of spray coating and uneven coating quality will appear. Therefore, it is very important to develop a new spraying device for the preparation of large area amorphous coating in the industrial field.According to this, the intelligent spray control system based on PLC and WinCC has been designed for a new type of spray equipment which is used for preparing amorphous coating on the surface of large steel plate. This system is based on the process flow and process requirement of the preparation of amorphous coating by supersonic flame spraying. It is designed through the utilization of SIEMENS S7-300 PLC, S120 servo system, MM440 inverter controller and WinCC configuration software to achieve the automation and intelligence of amorphous coating preparation process.The spraying process is made after the analysis of the process requirements of the supersonic flame spraying. At the same time, combining with the working principle of the spraying device, the control requirements of the system are put forward. And after comparing several system solutions, the optimal system control method is determined.According to the need of the control system, the PLC, servo drive system, frequency converter, motor and other hardware are selected and set. At the same time, The hardware configuration of S120 and PLC in STEP 7 and STARTER software are respectively carried out.. After determining the control process of the spraying system, the logic program of the control system is compiled by STEP 7 software.WinCC as the configuration software in the upper computer is used to compete the system configuration for the control process of the spraying device. Graphic design and variable connection of each control interface are completed by the graphical editor in the software, and the special functions of some graphics are achieved by the C script. The interfaces can jump between each other, and the image and the parameters can be got and displayed through the control interface, also the operation of the spraying equipment can be controlled on the interface.In order to ensure the feasibility and reliability of the control system, in the process of system research, PLCSIM software is used to simulate the part of the program in STEP 7. In addition, the PLC is connected with drive system for debugging to test the drive program.In this article, the research work about the control system of amorphous coating spraying device has been completed in the laboratory. The experimental test has demonstrated that the system program can meet the control requirements of the spraying device, and the control interface of the system is friendly and easy to operate, which lays the foundation for the industrial application.
