Tert-butyl calix[4]arene(tBC) has a unique cavity, which has great research value in the fluorescent and absorption, but its hydrophobicity limits its application. Metal-organic frameworks has high surface area, large pore volume and adjustable pore volume. So selecte hydrophilic MOFs and tBC compound, using of synergies between the two materials for studying the application.We synthesized UiO-66 (Zr)?UiO-66(Zr)@tBC by solvothermal method, and analyzed three kinds of materials by XRD, BET, FTIR, TGA, SEM and contact angle analysis.The fluorescence intensity of UiO-66(Zr)@tBC and Eu3+ in aqueous solution complex was significantly higher than those of UiO-66 (Zr), tBC and Eu3+ complex. Though washing, the change of fluorescence intensity of UiO-66(Zr)@tBC@Eu3+ is not obvious, indicating that UiO-66(Zr)@tBC@Eu3+ is stable. UiO-66(Zr)@tBC@Eu3+ can be used as a fluorescent probe to detect Fe3+, and the lowest detection limit is 10-5mol/L. This compound can also detect F-, and the lowest detection limit is 10-5mol/L. For acetone, the lowest detectable limit was acetone volume content of 7%.MIL-100 (Fe)@tBC composite materials with different mass ratios were synthesized by post synthesis method, and the optimum mass ratio of composite materials was 3:1. Study the effect of adsorption time and initial concentration on the adsorption of methylene blue(MB) on MIL-100(Fe) and MIL-100(Fe)@tBC. It can be seen that MIL-100(Fe) and MIL-100(Fe)@tBC within 10h have shown relatively fast absorption rate, and then gradually reached saturation. According to the adsorption isotherm, the maximum adsorption capacity of MIL-100(Fe) and MIL-100(Fe)@tBC can reach 640.1±5mg·g-1 and 812.9±5mg·g-1, respectively. The adsorption capacity was increased by 27% after encapsulating tBC. The adsorption process was in accordance with the pseudo-second-order model and the Langmuir model.
