Titanium materials,with the advantages of light weight,high strength,good corrosion resistance and thermostability and so on,are widely used in aerospace field.Meanwhile,titanium Ti6Al4 V also has disadvantages of low thermal conductivity,high chemical inertness,big processing resilience,and the cutting tools in the effect of strong thermal-force coupling field in high-speed machining process,have intense friction and serious tool wear,which directly affects the machining quality of titanium components.According to study the diffusion wear behavior of the different types of carbide tools in high-speed machining,this article analyzes the influence characteristics of different alloy composition and elemental composition on the diffusion wear of cutting tools,and characterizes the diffusion wear formation process of the rake face of carbide tools in the highspeed machining of titanium Ti6Al4 V.This article mainly completes the following aspects:Selecting YG6,YG8 tools to do cutting Ti6Al4 V test,the influence characteristics of cutting force on cutting speed,cutting temperature and tool wear are obtained,which provides a theoretical and experimental basis for further studying the influnce of alloy composition on the diffusion wear of tools.A macro-mesoscopic scale-span analysis approach of carbide tool wear is raised,the configuration of carbide tool atom group is built and optimized,and the formulas of atoms diffusion rate and the coupled motion equations of the molecular dynamics and continuum region are derived,which provide a theoretical basis for the analysis of the macro-mesoscopic scale-span.By the simulation analysis of cutting titanium Ti6Al4 V with carbide tools,the variation regular with cutting speed of main cutting force,the temperature of tool-chip contact zone carbide tool,and the temperature and wear depth of rake face are obtained.Meanwhile,the thermal coupling analysis is carred out by cutting titanium Ti6Al4 V with carbide tools,and the distribution of tool strainand stress in different cutting speed are obtained.The molecular dynamics simulation of mesoscopic atomic group disordered movement and diffusion properties is carried out in cutting titanium Ti6Al4 V with carbide tools,the diffusion rate of tool rake face atomic group of YG8,YT15,YW2 is solved,the variation characteristics of three tool rake face atom group density are analized,the diffusion wear characteristics of different carbide composition tools are studied in cutting Ti6Al4 V,and the diffusion wear controling methods of carbide tools are proposed.
