| C-4 fraction refers to the 4-carbon-atomic hydrocarbon byproducts produced during the petroleum refinery and petrochemical production, including n-butane, isobutene, n-butenes, isobutene and butadiene, etc.. One of the major ways of comprehensive utilization of the C-4 fraction is to use it to produce alkylate gasoline, of which the vaporizing pressure is relatively low while the octane index is fairly high. Furthermore, the adding of alkylate gasoline to motor gasoline doesn’t add to the olefins index, the aromatics index, and the oxygen content of it, so the nation’s compulsive norms won’t be exceeded. All of these advantages make the alkylate gasoline a ideal blending component of the motor gasoline.This paper comprehensively analyses the development trend of the alkylate gasoline based on a analyses of its existing product volume and the current market status of it. Production scale and a proper technology route of utilizing the resources advantages of Shanxi Guoxin & Shengxin New Energy Limited Company is defined in this paper after a contrast study of a butch of possible technological routes. Also in this paper, possible environmental influences of this project to the factory region is attentively studied, and a targeted solution scheme is made, systematic study of innate safety during the running of this project is carried out and an effective hazard control scheme is suggested. At the end of this paper, the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of this project is systematically studied using SWOT analytical procedure, relevant technological and economic feasibility is analyzed. Based on the studies carried out in this paper, the project of deep processing the LPG and methanol in the feedstock to produce 200 kiloton/a alkyate gasoline is fully feasible. The completion and commissioning of this project will fill in the blanks of high quality environmental motor gasoline of Shanxi province. |
