Recently, people have paid more and more attention on the development of energy-efficient and environmentally "green tire".And through modifing the end group of butadiene styrene rubber can enhance the interaction between rubber and filler, which can improve the slip resistance wet of the tire and reduce the rolling resistance, it has important industrial value. This paper discusses the preparation methods of several kinds of amine initiator, and discuss use 4,4'-Methylenebis(N,N-dimethylaniline) (MBDMAL) as the initiator, which initiate random copolymerzation of styrene butadiene, and use several kinds of siloxane material as the end-capping reagent. And the performance of function SSBR are analyzed.Respectively screen and analyze four kinds of amine initiator. At first, explore the activity of MBDMAL, which respectively initiate homopolymerization of styrene and butadiene. By calculating the hydrogen nuclear magnetic spectra of the product, the amino functionality can reach 62% and 71% respectively. From the choice of solvent, the synthetic temperature of initiator and synthetic time et al, we explore the optimum synthesis condition of the MBDMAL initiator:under 50 ?, with cyclohexane as solvent, butyllithium over 10% than MBDMA, after 2 hours of reaction,we could get the wine red of initiator.Based on the same idea, fabricating N,N-dimethylbenzylamine lithium(BDMAL), N-benzyl-N-methylaniline lithium (BMAL), and N,N-dibenzylaniline lithium (BDAL) which is double lithium initiator. The results showed that although BDMAL initiator has trigger activity, but the real trigger monomer polymerization is butyllithium; BMAL initiator has good trigger activity and storage stability, but it is difficult to control the molecular weight of product; BDAL can trigger the homopolymerization of styrene and the amino functionality of product can be up to 61.5%. But the copolymerization of styrene and butadiene by BDAL, its production rate is very low.The performance of adopting previously prepared initiator of modified SSBR is better than the performance of the unmodified SSBR and in situ prepared initiator of modified SSBR. At six kinds of end of amino/siloxane group modified SSBR, with MBDMAL as initiator, 3-(2-imidazolin-1-yl)propyl triethoxy silane as the end-capping reagent, the comprehensive performance of rubber shows the most excellent properties, the tensile strength is 22.53MPa, the elongation at break is 361%;tan delta is 0.44 when the temperature is 0?, the tan delta is 0.106 when the temperature is 60?.
