Sulfuric acid is a major raw materials in oil refining industrial, but in the process of refining unit used, the concentration of sulfuric acid will reduce gradually, reduced to a certain degree will become waste sulfuric acid to be discharged. From the device to remove the waste sulfuric acid has strong corrosion resistance, also has the pollution to the environment, but also the waste of resources, so many refiners have waste sulfuric acid recovery unit.The waste sulfuric acid to processing, to improve their concentration by recycling in order to achieve.In waste sulfuric acid recycling equipment, set up many instrument used to detect the process parameters, such as temperature instruments, pressure gauges, flow meters, liquid level meter, analyzer, etc. In this article, through with other flowmeter in terms of accuracy, installation selection comparison, concluded that the electromagnetic flowmeter is one of the most suitable for sulfuric acid flow measurement instrument. So in qinghai 25000 tons/year waste sulfuric acid recovery unit set electromagnetic flow meter used to measure the rate of flow of sulfuric acid, Not only improves the measurement accuracy and precision, to ensure the enterprise economic benefit. Instrument in sulfuric acid device selection, material selection, installation and problem solution were studied. All instrumentation in the design of this device at the same time, applied to the automatic control system, improve the level of the automation of the entire device.Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction electromagnetic flowmeter is used to measuring instrument of the conductive liquid, has high precision, simple installation, strong corrosion resistance, high reliability and easy to change range, at present has been widely used all over the world.
