As a relatively wide and a complex process, the double glow ion permeability metal technology developed a technology which is based on the basis of the principle of glow discharge.It is a complex ion chemistry and heat treatment process. The furnace structure and the use of the power supply has a direct impact on the effects of workpiece processing in this process. With the demand of the large-scale industrial production, the traditional dc power supply are relatively simple in structure design which can't satisfy the demand of the double glow ion permeability metal technology and the requirements of electrical isolation power parameters, this undoubtedly increase the cost of the power, volume and weight. This article puts forward the application of adjustable duty ratio of the design of a dc pulse power to achieve the purpose of optimizing the power structure and satisfy the double glow ion permeability metal technical requirement for electrical parameters from the perspective of improving power main circuit and control way at the same time.We designed two single-phase dc pulse power supply as our power supply in order to be satisfied with the high power output and isolate the load from power supply equipment according to the double glow ion permeability metal power supply. In order to raise the efficiency of power supply,we use TL494 chip as stable frequency undamental wave to generate the control signal,and regulate the output voltage through changing the duty ratio of base wave.In order to satisfied the requirement of power supply electrical parameters in different processing stages, we free the change in duty cycle and increased the temperature control system at the same time, making the power output can regulate automatic with the change of each structure temperature in the furnace pressure,and avoid the possible security problems which traditional double glow ion permeability possible cathode source metal equipment may meet.When the double glow ion permeability metal equipment works in the initial phase, the output voltage power peak current woud not be high with the stable voltage. However, with the stable voltage the current continue to increase during the process of the reaction. In order to avoid the material surface treatment effect,which was casued by the large output current,we use the power of the temperature control of constant pressure regulating work mode, successfully avoid the manual switch power supply work mode in the traditional double glow ion permeability metal process, simplify the operation, and ensure the safety of power supply operation.We present a detailed circuit design and parameter selection,which are based on the effects of the electrical parameters on the double glow ion permeability metal process, according to the the design index of the power supply. We put forward the problems to be further discussed,then combined with the actual engineering application on the efficiency of power supply and all aspects of the requirements.
