With low energy loss feature, solid double negative medium is a perfect model to achieve super-resolution imaging. This paper mainly studied the microstructure design of solid double negative medium with low energy loss feature in small scale. The major works can be summarized as follows:1. Proposed a multilevel structure model for solid double negative medium, with triangular honeycomb lattice as matrix material. Then numerical simulation is conducted on the multilevel structured phononic crystal with single inclusion and the acoustic focusing phenomenon is verified.2. Multilevel structure model with multiple inclusions for solid double negative medium is introduced. Material impedance and dispersion characteristics in relation with inclusions' diameter and center to center distance are both analyzed. Then verified the negative refraction phenomenon under water by numerical simulation.3. Discrete structure model with its simplified mass-spring model for solid double negative medium are presented. Then theoretically analyzed the impact done by structure parameter on equivalent density, equivalent shear modulus and equivalent bulk modulus, laid foundation for further design of solid double negative medium with low shear modulus.
