Fanjing Mountain Nature Reserve is located in the junction of Jiangkou, Songtao and Yingjiang counties, the northeast of Guizhou Province. In order to find out the environmental background values and the soil environmental status, we selected the soils of Fanjing Mountain Nature Reserve as the research object. Through field sampling and experiment analysis, the abundance level of heavy metal and trace element in soils were researched, the spatial distribution characteristics elevation and soil profile layer heavy metals and trace elements in different agrotype, elevation and soil profile layer were researched, absorption properties of elements in Abies fanjingshanensis. Taxus wallichiana var. Mairei. And Davidia involucrata Baill. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The soil elements including Cd, Hg, Cr, As, Pb, Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu of Fanjing Mountain Nature Reserveare are unevenly distributed. Compared with the national standard of soil environmental quality standard(GB151618-1995), the soil of Fanjing Mountain Nature Reserveare Cd, Cr, Hg, As and Pb is partly exceeded, among them, Cd, Hg and Pb standard rate is higher. Compared with other areas, the average content of soil Cd?Hgand Pb was higher than those in other area. Fanjing Mountain Soil Cd, Hg and Pb have a higher background value.(2)In different agrotype, elements such as Cd, Hg, As, Pb, Mn in mountain yellow soil, mountain yellow-brown soil, dark dwarf forest soil content did not significantly change, distribution is more uniform. In the mountain meadow soil, compared with other types of soil changes greatly, the distribution of elements of Cr, Zn and Mo is smaller, elements of Cd, Pb, Fe and Mn is larger.(3)Pearson correlation analysis of the contents of the soil and the elevation of the soil. Result shows that: Altitude on Fanjing Mountain Soil Cr, Fe, Mn, and Zn was negatively correlated with elevation, Elevation and soil As were positively correlated. The lower the altitude, the higher content of soil Cr, Fe, Zn and Mn the lower the As content of the soil.(4)Soil elements Cr, Cd, Hg, As, Pb, Mn and Mo contents is higer in the surface soil layer, elements Zn and Fe is higer in 20-40 cm soil layer, elements Cu and Mo is higer in 40-60 cm soil layer. The average contents of Cd, Hg, As, Fe, Cu and Mo in soil had changed little. The contents of those elements Cr, Cd, Hg, As, Pb and Mn have same tendency, and with soil depth were downtrend they all decreased. The heavy metal elements Cd in different soil layer have a high level.(5)Rare and endangered plants Abies fanjingshanensis. Taxus wallichiana var. Mairei. And Davidia involucrata Baill. Have different degree of absorption and accumulation of elements. According to the dividing sequence, this three species of rare and endangered plants have the strongest bioaccumulation capacity ability on Mn and Zn.
