In this thesis, with tetraphenylethylene(TPE)-pyridine(Pyd) as the main unit and various benzyl bromide as substituted groups,to give a series of AIE performance TPE derivatives and we discuss theirelectrochemical properties and photophysical properties. The main work is as follows:(1) The TPE-Pyd react with benzyl bromide ? 1,2-Bis(bromomethyl)benzene ?1,3-Bis(bromomethyl)benzene?1,4-Bis(bromomethyl)benzene?4-Cyanobenzyl bromide?4-Nitrobenzyl bromide and 4-(Trifluoromethyl)benzylrespectively, give seven kinds of quaternary ammonium salts of 1-Benzyl-4-(4-triphenylvinylphenyl)-pyridinium-bromide(TPE-Pyd-1),1,2-bis-Benzyl-4-(4-triphenylvinylphenyl)-pyridinium-bromide(TPE-Pyd-2),1,3-bis-Benzyl-4-(4-triphenylvinylphenyl)-pyridinium-bromide(TPE-Pyd-3), 1,4-bis-Benzyl-4-(4-triphenylvinylphenyl)-pyridinium-bromide(TPE-Pyd-4), 4-(4'-Triphenylvinyl-biphenyl-4-ylmethyl)-benzonitrile(TPE-Pyd-5),4-(4-Nitro-benzyl)-4'-triphenylvinyl-biphenyl(T PE-Pyd-6) and 4-(4-Trifluoromethyl-benzyl)-4'-triphenylvinyl-biphenyl(TPE-Pyd-7).(2) 1H Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectra, Infrared spectra, Ultraviolet-Visible Absorption spectra, Fluorescence emission spectra of liquid and solid-state were tested, which determine the successful synthesis of the seven kinds of quaternary ammonium salts. And they all have Piezochromic(machanochromic)luminescence phenomenon, in particular TPE-Pyd-5by a significant color change before and after the grinding pressure. Test the solid-state quantum efficiency of all of them before and after grinding them,and found solid state TPE-Pyd-1 has the highest quantum efficiency(88. 1%).(3) Tested the electrochemical properties of all compounds and calculated the HOMO, LOMO level. The AIE properties of compounds have been tested in detail in n-hexane and dichloromethane. Observed morphology after they gathered by scanning electron microscope,and found that the formation of nanoparticles is the main reason for its AIE propertiesand we tested their fluorescence lifetime in the film state and the powder state.In conclusion,we found that they are a class of excellent electrochemical properties of AIE efficient fluorescent material.
