In recent years, with the continuous development of social economy, the scale of construction projects is increasing. Cement mortar is a common material in construction engineering, and its quality directly influences the whole engineering quality. Shrinkage crack is a common phenomenon in the construction of concrete structure, which can not only cause the corrosion of reinforcing bar, affect the building performance, but also can reduce the resistance to the building. Therefore, the control of shrinkage cracks become an important part of building concrete engineering. The dry shrinkage of cement mortar has a great influence on the concrete structure, and even damage the durability of concrete, and then cause more serious property damage. In this paper, the dry shrinkage of cement mortar is of great significance. This paper first analyzes the research status at home and abroad, to lay a solid theoretical foundation for this study; then, analysis of the cement concrete shrinkage type, dry shrinkage shrinkage characteristics, process and mechanism, this paper introduces mixture, cement, aggregate, mineral admixture, effects of environmental conditions on cement concrete; thirdly, through different test methods for analysis of the influence of the drying shrinkage of mortar, and expounds the relationship between shrinkage shrinkage and concrete mortar; finally, discusses the factors affecting the dry shrinkage of cement mortar, focuses on the analysis of mineral admixtures, water binder ratio, curing condition, expansive agent and shrinkage reducing agent, polypropylene fiber on the shrinkage effect of dry cement mortar.Through the above research, dry shrinkage is the main reason of the cracks in concrete. The dry shrinkage of cement concrete can be predicted by the dry shrinkage of cement mortar.
