With the wide application of blast furnace gas dry dust removal process and the increasing of chlorine load year by year, the adverse effects that HCI in the blast furnace top gas which made on production of blast furnace emerge gradually and grow increasingly. Exceeding HCI in the blast furnace top gas mainly causes the quicker corrosion of pipeline system and hot stove regenerator checker brick as well as the aggravation of salt deposition on TRT blade, which seriously affects the efficient and safe production of blast furnace. Through the study on kinetics of HCl removal in blast furnace top gas, we can draw the conclusions: HCl in blast furnace top gas can be removal by dry dechlorination. CO2 and H2 O in blast furnace top gas have an adverse effect on dechlorination in different degree. The best implementing place of HCl gas dry removal process for blast furnace top gas should be set after cloth-bag dusting.Through the study on development of dechlorination agent, we can draw the conclusions: The suitable bonding agent is 3# bentonite and its suitable content is 10%; The suitable pore-making agent is PEG and its suitable content is 9%; The suitable calcination temperature and calcination time are 450℃ and 90 min; Either Ce O2 or La2O3 can improve the dechlorination and mechanical performance of dechlorination agent and the suitable content for either of them is 6%. Suitable content of soda in dechlorination agent not only can overcome the negative effect of CO2 from the blast furnace top gas but can keep the strength of the agent after reaction. The suitable content of soda is 18%. Suitable content of converter slag in dechlorination agent can increase strength and decrease preparation cost of the agent. The suitable content and grinding time of converter slag are 20% and 25 min.
