The excellent performances and characteristics of titanium alloy are high specific strength,excellent corrosion resistance,high temperature resistant,Lower requirements of moulding processing conditions,so some mechanical parts are made of titanium alloy,such as the airframe body shell,vane and blisk on engine,now its main application fields including aerospace, ships.However, the present problems of the titanium alloy is low hardness, cutting sticky sticky, limits the application of titanium alloy in the bearing structure,bridging structure,and some structure of high hardness requirements.In order to improve the comprehensive performance of titanium alloy by micro-arc oxidation technology,the main purpose is to generate a layer of ceramic membrane on the surface of titanium alloy in the electrolyte.The main experiment content includes the following two parts:(1)The determination of the experimental parameter: Before the result of the experiment was characterized,titanium alloy oxidation film need to be prepared by micro-arc oxidation technology.Characterization methods mainly include thickness of oxidation film and profile of cross-section.The best experimental parameters can be selected by comparing the characterization results,which mainly includes the positive and negative frequency level, positive and negative energy level, oxidation time.(2)The determination of electrolyte composition and concentration of additives: The innovation of this experiment is choosing the Li- sodium silicate as the main additives.The best basic electrolyte and the concentration of additives are be determined by Variable-controlling approach,characterization methods mainly include thickness of oxidation film, micro-hardness, SEM,corrosion resistance,and wear resistance.Titanium alloy wear resistance, corrosion resistance is improved and its micro-hardness increased from HV 200 to HV 1 100.
