Product assembly is an important part of the production. With assembly unit composed of assembly reference part and assembly activities part, theoretically, these two parts is fully softly fit. However, the mating-surface appear problem due to manufacture error, which can't meet the requirements of assembly. When faced with the problem, Traditional methods take the method of manual repair and spray to compensate the gap. But, its efficiency is low because it mainly depends on the experience of operation. To solve the problem of ultral- assembly, this paper puts forward the rapid solution, based on measuring ultral-plane, restoring inner surface of matching-parts and reprocessing matching-parts. This paper reconstruct inner surface of matching-parts to get a new model referring to the ultral-plane. Finally, the removal rate of secondary process of matching-parts is decided by this model. The main contents include that:(1)An research on reconstruction's method of matching-parts. The author establishes the best reconstruction method and reasonable reconstruction process of matching parts by researching the relationship of reconstruction method and reconstruction quality.(2)An research on determination of the best measurement parameters. This paper makes an experiment between reconstruction error and measurement parameters, and chooses the best measurement parameters of ultral-plane.(3) An research on registration method for secondary process. When there is no processing benchmarks on matching-parts, workpiece coordinate system and machine coordinate system is contacted by the way of “no-benchmarks”. This method has been proved.(4) An estimate on machining accuracy about secondary process of matching-parts. Accroding to establish dimension chain model in the normal direction, this paper estimates accuracy requirements of n?merical control machining.
