Austempered Ductile Iron is a new ductile iron material that developed rapidly in recent decades.In recent years,People began wide attention to this ductile iron material which have best comprehensive mechanical propreties and high cost performance,the preparation and heat treatment process of ductile iron material becoming more mature in nowdays,heat treatment process improved the Austempered Ductile Iron properties,and put forward more challenges for machining process. The machining mechanism research of typical difficult-to-machine materials like Titanium alloy,Hardened steel,Nickel-based superalloy,Ultra high strength steel is still focus of the scholars both at home and abroad.However,with rapid development of manufacturing industry,Industry is constantly trying to use some excellent performance of new type material preparation good parts,then there is how to reasonably and effectively solve the difficulties in processing the new material,in the applications no longer be limited.This thesis is aimed at thorough analysis the material mechanical properties of Austempered Ductile Iron,combining the theory of high speed cutting,to intensive analysis and experiment research Austempered Ductile Iron,the concrete research content is as follows:(1)Analyzed the mechanical properties and machining characterisitics of Austempered Ductile Iron,according to its selection cutting machining of high speed milling experiment method, briefly introduces high speed machining technology and research status forming mechanism of high-speed cutting.(2)Discuss the serrated chip formation mechanism relationship with cutting speed of ductile iron,analysis of chip formation as a whole shape,obaserve the cutting free surface and bottom surface morphology characteristices,the method of using theory and experiment to experiment to sepiment to explore the formation mechanism of the chip.(3)According to each Cutting parameters of single factor experiment,Research the Austempered Ductile Iron under high speed milling that the milling force and therelationship between the spindle speed, feed and cutting width. Based on the results of orthogonal experiments, The method of using multiple linear regression that can get the experience index prediction model of milling force, for the processing technology of the President Austempered Ductile Iron supply the reference.(4)Using single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment to research the Austempered Ductile Iron under the high speed milling surface quality and the relationship between the cutting parameters. The single factor experiment spindle speed, the influence of feed and cutting width of surface quality, and the Orthogonal experiment under the analysis of single factor experiment to choose parameters for further detailed analysis of the effects of cutting parameter on the result, then we can build the high speed milling President Austempered Ductile Iron surface roughness prediction model in mathematics. And to establish a mathematical model for the surface roughness of the constraints, the material removal rate as the optimization goal, use genetic algorithm to optimize milling dosage.
