Research On Non-target Substances In Food Contact Silicone Rubber Products

In recent years,silicone rubber materials are widely used in food contact products such as bakewares,nipple,tableware,sealing gasket and so on.Due to complex production process and ingredients,some toxic initiators,split products,residual solvents and various additives in these products migrate potentially into foods,which bring a risk to people's diet security.Firstly,in this dissertation we take the silicone rubber bakewares in the market as research objects,and two sensitive,efficient and eco-friendly methods including purge and trap gas chromatography-mass sepctrometry(P&T-GC/MS)and solid phase microextraction coupled with GC-MS(SPME-GC/MS)were applied for qualitative analysis of volatile non-target compounds in 72 food contact silicone rubber bakewares,then the database of these volatile non-target compounds was established,the results shows that 30 volatile chemical substances involved 13 categories were indentified by P&T-GC/MS and 141 volatile chemical substances involved 15 categories were indentified by SPME-GC/MS.Secondly,the rapid,low-cost ultrasonic solvent extraction coupled with GC-MS method was developed for qualitative analysis of medium volatile non-target compounds in 69 silicone rubber products including bakewares and nipples.72 compounds involved 14 categories were indentified and listed in database.The result shows most of these compounds are not listed in the EU regulations.Finally,the quantitative method of 25 siloxanes in silicone rubber products was established by ultrasonic solvent extraction coupled with GC-MS and GC-MS/MS method and 69 food contact silicone rubber products were analyzed.The results show that high content siloxanes are detected and there are obvious differences of the content of siloxanes in the different types or brand of products.
