In the industries field of oil,chemical,pharmaceutical,dangerous chemicals storage and transportation,explosions occurred due to sparking ignition.However,the investigation of the accidents showed that,as a result of the high randomness to the premixed explosion environment ignition,the energy transfer process during the occurrence and growth of sparking is very complex.Because of the development of modern industrial,the production and utilization of dangerous chemicals increase,and the proportion of high-resistance materials improves rapidly.Therefore,the risk of sparking becomes hot research topics,including the energy distribution,the rules of the energy release and the key parameters during sparking ignition.Studies indicated that the physical process of sparking and the energy discharge process on the capacity of ignition in both theoretically and experimentally,especially the relationship between the power of spark and the capacity of ignition.The experiment facility is the self-made capacitive energy-storage and discharging ignition device based on pre-mixed gas explosion testing device.The results showed that the discharge process of the high-pressure gap breakdown of the capacitor energy storage could be divided into two phases significantly: the process of gap breakdown and the oscillation after the gap breakdown.The release of the sparking energy mainly occurred during the oscillation process after gap breakdown.The voltage and current curves show that,due to the resistance in the discharge circuits,the energy released by the gap discharging shows significant attenuation after the breakdown of the oscillation phase of the gap breakdown.The energy and power of the sparking have the influence on its ignition capacity.Moreover,the impact introduced by the sparking power is more obvious through the 5% liquefied petroleum gas experiment.The study of spark ignition mechanism can provide the theoretical basis for the development and application of electrical explosion protection technology,as well asprovide valuable data support for the establishment of safety conditions for production processes.
