The tyrosine is one of tweenty usual amino acids which were required for the human body,and it plays a important role in the life activities.It is also widely applied to medicine and life sciences.p-ethylphenol is a group of the tyrosine molecule.It is a good chemical solvent and an important intermediate for organic compounds.So the research on p-ethylphenol has important significance.At present,some experimental groups have studied the ground and the excited states vibration properities of p-ethyphenol by infrared,Raman,X-ray diffraction and fluorescence excitation spectra technology,and got the excited state vibrational spectra of 0?800cm-1.In order to improve the spectral resolution,here we used the method of one color resonance enhanced two photon ionization method with supersonic molecular beam and time of flight mass spectrometry technique to study the p-ethyphenol molecule.The excited state vibrational spectra of 800?1500cm-1 were obtained for the first time.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Using the theory of density functional theory of the B3PW91 and CIS method combine with the basis sets 6-311++G**to research the stable structures,vibration frequencies and spectrum properties of p-ethylphenol by Gaussian 09 software.(2)A brief introducton of programming software Lab VIEW was given.We tailored a set of the programs to meet the experimental needs using the Lab VIEW.We used these programs to realize the automatically controlling the experiment as well as acquisiting and handing data.(3)The supersonic molecular beam combined with time-of-fight mass spectrometry technique was used to study the resonance enhanced two photons ionization of p-ethylphenol in the range of 0?1500 cm-1.According to the theoretical calculation resluts,we assigned the experimentally found vibrations.
