The dyestu ffs are mainly used in the dyei ng of natural dyestuffs, China h as a history of thousands of ye ars of pl ant dyeing, due to th e industrial revolution, synthetic dyes bri ght col or, Dyeing spe ed, low cost, and many other advantages, gradually rep laced th e natural dyed textile dyeing the main color material.In recen t years, with the increasingly serious problem of en vironm ent poll ution and health, more and more people recongnized the s ustainable de sign under the influence of global green revolutio n,At the same ti me, the issues of traditional clothing culture i nheritance and de velo pment also attracted people's attention. The research on the color of "lotus dying" and its application i n women's clothing are not onlythe pioneering of sustainable d evelopmentChina, but also the inheritance of the innovation of Chinese traditional culture.This article first analyzes the color aesthetic of "Lotus" and its ap plication in Chinese traditional dress.By means of a larg e number of plant dyeing and chemical, studied the dyeing tec hnique of "lotus colo ring" and sort out the color card of the f abric.I haveexplained and an alyzed the experimental method an d result. Finally, the author com b ined with the new style of c lothing in the new design, made of the 5 sets of clothing, all c lothes were used "lotus dying".I hope that the research of this paper will provide a practi cal dl rection for the recovery of Chinese traditional culture an d the protec tion of environmental strategy, and provide some i nspiration for the innovation of Chinese fashion design.
