The basic energy structure (rich coal?less oil and gas) in our country decides the dominant position of coal as main energy cannot shake. So how to clean and efficient to use coal resources is a focus in the study of many scholars for a long time.First, we use industrial analyzer?elemental analyzer? infrared spectrometer and other basic experimental apparatus to research the HL lignite, It can be concluded that the content of the moisture and volatile are higher, and ash content is low.Second, in this paper we take advantage of the TG-FTIR to research the HL lignite from the following aspects.(1) The basic process of the pyrolysis and the escape of gases of the HL lignite. (2) The pyrolysis characteristics of the HL lignite at different heating rates (10?/min, 30?/min,40?/min,50?/min). (3) The pyrolysis characteristics of the HL lignite in the different atmosphere (N2?CO2). (4) The pyrolysis characteristics of the HL lignite by staying for 20 min at terminal temperature. This section and the next fixed bed pyrolysis experiments will be compared. (5) The fast pyrolysis characteristics of lignite at different heating rates. (6) It shows that the fast pyrolysis of volatile removals more thoroughly by comparing the fast pyrolysis and ordinary pyrolysis of lignite pyrolysis.Finally,we research the pyrolysis characteristics of the HL lignite on the fixed bed at different temperatures (400?,450??500?,550?,600?) and different atmosphere (N2?CO2). At last, we study the characteristics of the char and tar, and it shows that the tar yield reaches to maximum when the pyrolysis temperature reaches to 550?.
