With the rapid development of economic and technological,the car of ownership is increasing rapidly.As the ever-increasing demands on the road,people need to consider how to deal with discarded tires and improve the use of performance.Due to poor storage stability of SBS modified asphalt,the production of rubber power modified asphalt leads to poor performance.To make the SBS and crumb rubber complementary,this paper attempts to use the two kinds of power and SBS.this paper trying to use crumb rubber and SBS,prepared of crumb/SBS composite Modified asphalt binder and do research on its storage stability.This way not only reduces the amount of SBS and costs,but also improves the road performance of modified asphalt of SBS crumb rubber and solve the engineering construction problems.Through a series of orthogonal experiment,the paper finds out the optimum conditions of swelling crumb rubber.On this basis,through the single factor experiment,it explores the nature rule of modified asphalt and studies its storage stability.It finishes the standard of ?-D modified asphalt.According to the orthogonal test and analysis results,we can draw conclusions about the powder optimal swelling conditions: the swelling temperature is 140°C,the swelling time is 3h,the mass ratio of assistant and crumb rubber is 1.0.Respectively in this paper starting from 60-80 mesh powder,80-100 mesh powder and 100 mesh powder,we do research the mass ratio of assistant and crumb rubber,SBS content,swelling time on performance of composite modified asphalt.It was found that the mass ratio of assistant and crumb rubber and SBS content have large effects on the penetration and low temperature ductility and softening point of composite modified asphalt.The elastic recovery and PI maintain a relatively high level of volatility.Storage stability is significantly enhanced.The elastic recovery of composite modified asphalt is very sensitive to the powder particle size.In a study on storage stability of composite modified asphalt,it experiments that toluene that is not content of crumb rubber which isin composite modified asphalt is low than the original power.Content difference of toluene of crumb rubber which is in composite modified asphalt after storage is not relationship directly with ?t.
