Organic dyes are one of the important atmospheric pollutants.Recently,spinel composite photocatalyst has been widely studied because of their excellent photocatalytic activity in degrading organic dyes.In the study,CuFe2O4/GO and CuFe2O4/MgFe2O4 were synthesized by hydrothermal method and the method is environmental-friendly and very simple.The XRD,EDS,TEM,FT-IR.XPS and other characterization methods were used to characterize the structure and properties of the catalysts.The experiment results showed us that,the morphology of the CuFe2O4/GO was that CuFe2O4 nanoparticle dispersed on the surface of GO and CuFe2O4/MgFe2O4 were hollow microsphere.The specific surface area of the composite was effectively increased by two kinds of morphologies,which enhanced the activity of the catalysts.The composites have good photocatalytic activity in degrading AO7 under visible light irrigation,and the catalysts have different degradation efficiency under different condition such as catalyst dosage,solution pH value,different light source,the initial concentration of AO7,and different content of the two kinds of composite in the composition.At the same time,the mechanism of photocatalytic degradation of dye for two kinds of composite catalyst for research,through the comparison of the catalytic effect of adding free radical masking agent after two plays a leading role in the composite catalysts are ·O2- and h+.The CuFe2O4/GO because the conductivity of GO,and a large effective surface area to enhance the photocatalytic performance of the CuFe2O4,CuFe2O4 and MgFe2O4 formed a composite PN heterojunction structure,to enhance the utilization of photogenerated electrons to enhance the photocatalytic properties of composite materials.Since the two kinds of composites both have good magnetic properties,the recovery process is very simple and convenient.The experiments of two kinds of composites shows that both of the catalysts are stable and easy to be recycled,thus the two catalysts shows potential applications in organic dye water treatment.
