Low temperature gas-generating agent has the advantages of low temperature combustion,which reducing the outlet temperature of gas generator.It can reduce the temperature of the air bag and provides the technology and application of reliable support for the preparation of large inflatable balloon.But in practical applications,the ignition of low temperature gas-generating agent is not sufficient and resulting inthe problem of misfire.In this paper,thereliable ignition problem of guanidine nitrate/basic copper nitrate(GN/BCN)which is a low temperature gas-generating agent is studied.First of all,the ignition behavior of GN/BCN is studied using black powder,B/KNO3,Si/Pb3O4 and B/BaCrO4 as the ignition powder in the closed condition.The results show that 150mg black powder and 200mg Si/Pb3O4 can ignite the gas-generating agent,while 50mg B/KNO3 and B/BaCrO4are able to ignite the ignition gas generating agent.However,B/KNO3 has shorter than B/BaCrO4.In 50mL closed bomb,50?150mg B/KNO3can ignite GN/BCN low temperature gas-generating agent.When the quantity of B/KNO3 is 150mg,the ignition delay time of GN/BCNis 760ms.Secondly,n-B/KNO3/NCandn-B/KNO3/PFignition powder which respectively addingnitrocellulose and phenolic resin as binderare prepared by the method of high energy ball milling.The results show that n-B/KNO3/PFwith 5%PFcontent has optimumthermal analysis and ignition performance The main reaction peak temperature of n-B/KNO3/NC increases with the binder content increases.In order to further improve the ignition performance of the B/KNO3,n-B/KNO3/NC ignition powderwith nitrocellulose as binder is prepared by electrostatic spraying.The morphology,thermal performance analysis and ignition performance are analyzed.The results show that the method of electrostatic spraying makes KNO3 and n-B become more evenly dispersed andthe nitrocellulose can be evenly coated on the surface of KN03.Compared with 0%NC content and the method of physical mixing,the peak temperature of n-B/KNO3/NC with 13%NC content prepared by electrostatic spraying was about 55.3? and 36.1?,respectively.In closed bomb test,the ignitiondelay time of GN/BCNis shorter with the n-B/KNO3/NC as ignition powder.Finally,the ignite ofGN/BCN low temperature gas-generating agent is studied under.The results showed that underdifferent ambient pressure.Under normal pressure(exposure conditions),550mg black powder,450mgB/KNO3and 500mgSi/Pb3O4can igniter GN/BCN,while 50mg B/BaCrO4 can igniteGN/BCN.Under the condition of low voltage,when thepressure of vacuum gauge are-0.02MPa and-0.01 MPa,four kinds of igniter can not ignite the gas-generating agent.When the pressure of vacuum gauge is-0.005MPa 125mg B/BaCrO4 can ignite GN/BCN and black powder,B/KNO3 and Si/Pb3O4 can not ignite GN/BCN with the increase of the quantity.Comprehensive comparison shows that GN/BCN low temperature gas-generating agent should choose n-B/KNO3/NC prepared by the electrostatic spraying which the ignition performance is best.At atmospheric pressure or low pressure conditions using B/BaCrO4 should be better.
