With the rapid development of the national economy,the application of polymer materials has become more and more extensive.Polyvinyl chloride(PVC)for its excellent flame retardant,translucent and,good mechanical properties are deeply loved by businessmen.At present,a large part of PVC is used for coating materials.With chemical fiber,cotton fiber as the base cloth,PVC material evenly coated on the fabric surface,in order to obtain special functions,such as:waterproof Flame retardant,enhanced,toughened,windproof and improve the surface morphology of the fabric.However,these have not improved the cold-resistant properties of PVC coated fabric,a long time at low temperatures,PVC coating material will be brittle.the product becomes hard and brittle,not only undermines the product’s aesthetics,but also reduces the comprehensive use of coated fabric performance.In order to improve the low temperature resistance of PVC film,the PVC coated fabric with low temperature resistance was prepared.The paper is divided into four aspects: First part,Study on Properties of Nano-Rubber SBR Particle Modified PVC Membrane;the second part,Study on Properties of Nano-rubber PNBR particles modified PVC membrane;the third part,Study on Properties of NR-541 Particle Modified PVC Membrane;fourth part,effect of Coating Process on the Properties of Modified PVC Coatings.The rheological properties,mechanical properties,low temperature properties and microstructures of the modified PVC materials were studied.The results show that:(1)With the addition of SBR rubber,the viscosity of PVC slurry system increased,and the agglomeration of particles was obvious.The rheological property of PVC slurry system decreased and then increased with the increase of temperature.When the content of SBR was 6 wt%,when the temperature was 65 ℃,the viscosity of PVC system was about 4500 mPa · s,which accords with the industrial processing and coating standard.At the same time,when the SBR content is6wt%,the elongation at break of PVC / SBR film is 322%,improved 29.7%,At-20 ℃,theelongation at break of 219.6%,improved 21%,However,at-40 ℃,it did not improve its performance.(2)The addition of PNBR rubber particles will affect the viscosity of PVC membrane system,but the effect was smaller than that of SBR particles,and the dispersibility of PNBR particles is better than SBR particles.However,the addition of PNBR particles will seriously affect the transmittance and haze of the film,and the film will have a certain color,which has an impact on late color changes.PNBR can effectively improve the toughness and cold resistance of PVC film.When the content of PNBR is 6wt%,its elongation at break is 337.4%,improved 35.3%,tensile strength is 12.6 MPa,improved40%.At-20 ℃,the elongation at break of 249.5%,compared with pure PVC membrane improved 37.84%,tensile strength increase by 15%;At-40 ℃,the elongation at break is 63%,which is about 21% higher than that of PVC film.(3)The addition of NR-541 rubber had the least effect on the viscosity of PVC.When its content was less than 9wt%,its viscosity value would not exceed 4500 mPa · s,and could be directly applied at normal temperature.When the content of NR-541 was 6wt%,the breaking elongation of PVC film is improved by 80%,and the elongation at break of PVC film was improved by 50% at the temperature of-40 ℃.So NR-541 can greatly improve the low-temperature performance of PVC.(4)The study found that: The optimum baking temperature of PVC/SBR and PVC/NR-541 is175 ℃,and the optimal temperature of PVC/PNBR is 185 ℃.And the results were analyzed by temperature alternation test,tensile test,ultraviolet aging test and low light structure experiment,we can found that: PVC / NR-541 material after coating the material was not tight with the PVC matrix has good compatibility,and can effectively penetrate into the base fabric to form an effective adhesive force.At the same time its low temperature,UV-resistant performance was the best.
