Study On Area Resistance Influence Factors Of Separate Paper Of Zinc-Silver Battery

In this paper,cotton pulp,acetalized Polyvinyl alcohol fiber as the main fiber,adding a certain amount of Polypropylenefiber,the separator paper using wet-forming technology has high absorption performance,low area resistance.Futhermore,the factors that influence the area resistance of the separator paper are studied and analyzed.Through the non-chemical fiber beating treatment and performance analysis.We know the cotton pulp's sorbent speed can reach 23.5mm /1 minand the mass loss in 50? KOH solution is less than 2%,in a beating degree of 20?SR.The perfect alkali resistance of cotton fiber makes it an ideal raw material for Zinc-Silver battery separator paper.Analysing the surface morphology and alkali resistance of Polyamide fibers,acetalized Polyvinyl alcohol fibers and Polypropylene fibers show that the acetalized polyvinyl alcohol fibers are profiled cross-section fibers;the Polyamide fibers surface show etching "pits" after Potassium hydroxide corrosion.As the cotton fiber fiber,acetalized polyvinyl alcohol fiber is relatively soft,add a certain amount of Polypropylene fibercan improve the dimensional stability of the separator papers.The rate of the cotton pulp,Polypropylene fiber and acetalized Polyvinyl alcohol fiber of the separators is 60:10:30 in the mass ratio,make sample weight at 42 g/m~2,its sorbent speed can be up to 37 mm /1min,sorbent ratio is 658%,alkali-resisitance mass loss is 3.99%,alkali-resisitance area loss is 13.51%,and the area resistance is 57.4m? · cm2.After calendaring,the thickness of the separator paper was 85.2?m,area resistance of 39.2 m? · cm2,but when the thickness of the separators is143.8?m,separator paper's area resistance is 65.7 m? · cm2;Tencel fiber has a good regulation effect on 30?m~40?m pores,the larger the addition ratio of fibrillated tencel fibers,the smaller total pore volume,porosity and average pore size of the separator paper,the greater the area resistance of the separator paper,and the area resistance of the separators with the ratio of 10%Tencel fiber is 80.5 m? · cm2.The use of PAE resin in the separator paper is not a good way to improve its strength,and will lead to the increase in the area resistance.In order to balance the contradiction between its wet strength and area resistance,the addition of 0.5%(relative to the dry pulp)PAE resin is more appropriate.Impregnation The PVA-1799 with 2.5% solids content significantly improves the tensile index of the separator paper,but the flexibility of the separator paper deteriorates and reduces the porosity and average pore size of the separator paper.Since polyhydroxy polyvinyl alcohol has good hydrophilicity,the area resistance of the separator paper drops to 53.3 m?·cm2 from 57.4 m?· cm2.
