With the rapid development of economy and society,the consumption of printing-supplies are growing.Although digital printing brings great convenience to daily life,the problems are also obvious.A large amount of paper consumption will inevitably lead to the forest logging,cause damage to the nature,and result in a series of environmental problems.After the concept of “sustainable development” putting forward,people have been deeply understanding the relationship of the economic development,social development and environmental protection.As for the printing industry,it has been a consensus that all of us should cut down paper consumption and reduce carbon emission.In addition to environment problem caused by paper consumption,the actual printing cost is higher due to the frequent ink cartridge replacement and the discarded cartridge may cause environmental issues.Therefore,it is imperative to develop novel printing-supplies.The technology of water-jet printing proposed and displayed by our research group is an innovation to the existing printing technology.The water-jet rewritable paper proposed by our research group can be used repeatedly through water spaying and removing.It will help our country to achieve the goal of energy conservation and emissions reduction,protection of resources and environment.Therefore,it's important to speed up the industrialization of water-jet rewritable paper.In chapter 2,we discuss the industrial preparation of water-jet rewritable paper in detail.We take indole [2,1-b] oxazolidines M1 reported by our research group for example,which has hydrochromic property.Through the designing of coating liquid,screening of coating material and surfactant,adjustment the amount of dye solution,adjustment coating thickness and other experiments,we explore and obtain a preparation technology for water-jet rewritable paper.At the same time,the process is scaled up production successfully,and the prepared paper exhibits great rewritable performance.It establishes the foundation for realizing the industrial preparation of water-jet rewritable paper.In the third chapter,considering the safety hazards caused by organic solvent,we want to use water as green solvent instead.So we design and synthesis a novel water-soluble hydrochromic indole [2,1-b] oxazolidine M2,and at the same time we develop a more environment friendly industrial preparation of water-jet rewritable paper based on M2.First,we investigate the water-soluble and hydrochromic property of M2 in solution.After that,based on the optimized preparation technology,we successfully obtain the coating system using water as the only solvent.It makes the preparation more environment friendly.Although our current coated paper based on water-soluble hydrochromic indole [2,1-b] oxazolidine does not yet satisfy the daily reading,it provides a feasible solution for getting more environment friendly industrial preparation of water-jet rewritable paper.
