As one of the most important problems that affect the industrial production,the failure of equipment is usually due to the stress and strain of the equipment isn't being monitored in real time.However,the existing technology of stress and strain monitoring is still limited,and can not be widely used in industrial production.In this paper,based on the CdSe/ZnS core shell quantum dots(QDs),the changes of fluorescence characteristics under different loads are studied.The stability of QDs fluorescence spectrum in different environment conditions,and the photo-activation mechanism was studied?At the same time,through the experimental test the relationship between strength of fluorescence characteristics of QDs epoxy resin composites and strain.The main research results are as follows:(1)QDs under the UV excitation,water molecules can passivate the defects on the surface of QDs,and enhance the fluorescence strength;the oxygen in the air will corrode the surface of QDs,and reduce its size.(2)Through the analysis of QDs epoxy resin samples in TEM images before and after the experiment,results showed that the sample fluorescence intensity changes under the tensile,compression and impact load is mainly caused by the concentration of QDs in epoxy resin.
