Coating protection is one of the main methods for the protection of crude oil storage tanks.With the development of the petrochemical industry,the demand for anti-corrosion coatings used on crude oil storage tanks are also increasing.Traditional solvent-based coatings in the construction process will volatilize a large number of organic solvents,which caused great damage to environment and workers.Also,its one-time film thickness is low,which leads to low efficiency.So,the development of environmentally friendly coatings is necessary.High solid coatings have high solid content,less volatile organic compounds and a higher film thickness,meeting the requirements of crude oil storage tanks for anti-corrosion coatings.Epoxy coating is the best choice for crude oil tank anticorrosive coating.In order to obtain the best performance coating,the basic properties of the coating were determined by using the self-made epoxy high solid coating as the research object.By measuring the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy of the coating immersed in 3.5%NaCl solution and the static coupon experiment in 5%H2SO4 solution,5%NaOH solution and gasoline,the effects of alumina powder,silane coupling agent activated silica powder and graphene nanosheets on coating's properties was analyzed,especially coating's anticorrosion performance.The following conclusions were obtained:?1?As the coating with large and small molecular weight epoxy resin for the film-forming material,the coating viscosity is moderate,and the adhesion,flexibility are good.At the same time,the solid content of coating is 78%or more.?2?The ceramic filler can significantly improve the coating resistance of the coating in 3.5%NaCl solution and prolong its failure period.The addition of graphene nanosheets can further improve the life cycle of the coating soak and make the surface in late-soaking period remain intact.?3?Coating with ceramic filler and graphene nanosheets has the lowest uniform corrosion rate in 5%H2SO4 solution,5%NaOH solution and gasoline,which indicated its resistance to media is the best.
