Metal-organic frameworks?MOFs?are a series of novel functional porous materials,which assembled by metal ions and organic ligands.Currently,it has been widely used in the field of catalysis.In this thesis,we synthesized six novel MOFs by using transition metals such as CO2+,Mn2+,Zn2+ and nitrogen-containing ligands:1,4-bis?4-pyridyl?-2,3-azo-1,3-butadiene,2,5-?3-pyridyl?-3,4-azo-2,4-hexadiene?3-bpdh?and oxygen-containing carboxylic acid ligands:5-aminoisophthalic acid?AIA?,5-nitroisophthalic acid?NIA?.They are respectively complexes 1-[Co?AIA??bpd?]?100??,complexes 2-[Co?AIA??bpd?]?160??,complexes 3-Co?AIA??3-bpdh?,complexes 4-Mn?AIA??3-bpdh?,complexes 5-Zn?NIA??bpd?and complexes 6-Zn?NIA??3-bpdh?.In addition,the micro-nanocrystals of these six complexes with different morphologies and sizes were obtained by controlling the synthesis conditions?synthesis system,synthesis temperature,synthesis time,etc.?To investigate the properties of these six complexes,the catalytic degradation of dyes is chosen as a typical reaction.The results reveal that their catalytic activity for the degradation of organic dyes can be drastically affected by assembly conditions,such as the kinds of metal ions and nitrogen-containing ligands,and the synthesis temperature.The complexes 1 and 2 synthesized at different temperatures could degrade 88%of MO and 71%of malachite green,respectively.The complexes 3 and 4 synthesized by different metal ions could selectively degrade 19%of malachite green and 21%of methylene blue,respectively.For the complexes 5 and 6 synthesized with different nitrogen-containing ligands,the former had a high selectivity for the degradation of methyl orange?75%conversion?,while the latter did not show dye degradation.Therefore,new functional metal organic framework materials with different structures and functions can be obtained by changing the synthesis conditions.Furthermore,the high flexibility of this strategy will certainly enhance new potential applications of MOFs.
