Metal-organic frameworks are a class of crystal materials that are constructed with metal note and organic bridge,and the reaction is a polymerization that occurred by self-assembly of molecules.Now,nanoscale MOFs?NMOFs?have great potential applications in biomedical imaging and catalysis etc.and NMOFs with well-controllable dimension have attracted more and more interest of research workers.In this work,ZIF-8?2.2 nm?and ZIF-67?2.3 nm?with well-controllable dimension were synthesized in ionic liquid microemulsion H2O/TX-100/BmimPF6?ILME-1?.A new ionic liquid microemulsion H2O/EtOH/TX-100/BmimPF6?ILME-2?was constructed by adding ethanol into ILME-1,and which could dissolved water-insoluble organic H3BTC into the dispersed phase of microemulsion.HKUST-1?1.6 nm?with well-controllable dimension was synthesized in ILME-2.Electron microscopic characterization and molecular simulation calculations showed that organic ligands and metal salts were dissolved in the dispersed water core by the addition of ethanol,which restricted the growth of MOF particles.Moreover,a combined strategy of ultrasound and ionic liquid microemulsion was used to synthesize nanoscale MOFs.Zn3?BTC?2·12H2O?2.4 nm?with well-controllable dimension was also synthesized in ultrasound assisted ILME-2.Demulsification and separation of the reaction system was carried out through adjusting the water content of ionic liquid microemulsion and the phase of ionic liquid?RIL?was recovered and purified.ZIF-8?2.0 nm?with well-controllable dimension was synthesized in H2O/EtOH/TX-100/RIL ionic liquid microemulsion?RILME-2?,which was constructed with RIL.Process for the recovery and recycle of ionic liquid was established.
