Along with the development of chemistry there are many branches appears,such as zeolites,solid chemistry,reticular chemistry,etc.One of them is Metal Organic Framework(MOF)that attracted much attention around the researchers.In 1999,MOF as a brand new area was introduced firstly and more and more attention has been paid.During the last two decades,MOF has got to a widespread application in catalysis,gas adsorption,separation,drug delivery,photoelectric effect and many other fields for its advantages in the simple and easy synthesis conditions and convenient control of their structures.As metal ions or metal clusters construct the nodes and organic ligands construct its linkers,this type of framework has a more structured framework compares to others.For this point,it leads us a more systematic way to classify and summary this product.MOF can be seen constructed by repeated stack of a single Secondary Building Unit(SBU).This modularitive way of construction not only give a better way for the study of its structure and application but also arouse many ideas in the synthesis of MOF.Compares to the research in zeolites,we introduce TOPOS to the study of MOF so that we can get the 3D structure analysis in a systematic way.MOF can be synthesized in a simple route and an easily achieved condition.With the development of this field there are many new ways to be introduced to the synthesis of MOF.In the beginning,MOF was obtained meanly in solvent synthesis.However,to make it more efficient and environment-friendly,many new routes such as mechanochemical synthesis,microwave assist synthesis,sonochemical synthesis,etc.were enrolled.Researches in this aspect also push MOF to the way of commercialization and industrialization.MOF based on Eu as metal nodes cannot be easily acquired compared with other active metal such as Cu,Zn,etc.We used 4,4',4''-nitrilotribenzoic acid(H3TBA)as a ligand built a rod-shaped macroscopic MOF with Eu.X-ray diffraction results proves that the framework contains pores.However,for the crystals show an undesirable stability after solvent exchange and activation,we cannot get a considerable data in absorption with this material.Cu is one the popular metal used to build MOF for many years.Cupyrazol cluster is common metal ion cluster used as a node for MOF.By using the step-by-step method,we first build the metal clusters and then use it as a node to link with aliphatic acid to build two types of MOF.These two frameworks were synthesized with the same reactant.It is obvious that the structure and properties of MOF is very affected by the conditions.
