With the rapid development of Chinese social economy, the growing size of the city, the rapid growth of urban population and the rapid increase of urban sewage discharge, resulting in a large area of urban black and malodorous water. The problem of black and malodorous water in urban rivers has become a prominent environmental problem in many large and medium-sized cities in China.Compared with the conventional ground monitoring method, remote sensing technology has the relative continuity of time and space, and large dynamic range, which not only helps to grasp the characteristics of black and malodorous water from the regional level, but also conducive to timely and comprehensively grasp generation, development and evolution of black malodorous water, can save a lot of manpower, material and time.It is of great significance to study the remote sensing identifiable models of black and malodorous water integrated of heaven and earth with satellite remote sensing as the main means. This paper takes three typical northern cities:Beijing,Changchun,Shenyang and three typical southern cities:Hangzhou,Wuxi,Changzhou of China as the experimental area. After several field water comprehensive tests, the water quality parameters,AOPs(apparent optical properties)and IOPs(inherent optical properties)are obtained, and the database of optical properties of black and malodorous water in typical cities of China is constructed.Based on the database, three main contents of work are carried out:analysis of water quality parameter,AOP and IOP.In this paper, two identifiable models of black and malodorous water based on measured remote sensing reflectivity are proposed.Main contributions can be concluded as follows:(1)The paper choose severe black and malodorous water, light black and malodorous water and general water as research object, and make a comparative analysis of the water quality parameters,IOPs and AOPs of different water, which lay the foundation for the identifiable model.(2)Decision tree is built based on the measured remote sensing reflectance, which divide remote sensing reflectance into three categories:severe, light and general water, and futher divide the severe and light black and malodorous water into several categories according to the spectral characteristics.(3)Saturation for identifying black and malodorous water based on measured remote sensing reflectance is proposed, which select the appropriate threshold to identify black malodorous, and to verify the accuracy of the results. The results show that this method can effectively identify black and malodorous water and general water in the study area.(4)A spectral index for identifying black and malodorous water based on measured remote sensing reflectance is proposed, which select the appropriate threshold to identify black malodorous, and to verify the accuracy of the results. The results show that this method can effectively identify severe, light black and malodorous water and general water in the study area.(5)The identify indicators of DO,ORP,NH3-N and transparency of three types water are improved in the guide to the treatment of urban black and malodorous water. All the contributions of this dissertation are based on the research of water color remote sensing in inland water bodies at home and abroad, which is extended to the black and malodorous water. The paper provide technical support for the effective supervision of black and molodorous water in China.
